Eating Disorders

This is an incredible song that brought a lot of awareness to the fact that eating disorders do not only impact women. There is a certain love-hate relationship when someone is active in their disorder. Love, on one hand, because at times it brings a sense of relief and calm and control (if only for a few moments)... and then hate because it truly wrecks havoc on one’s life, their relationships, job, sense of self… its a blind love of abuse. That temporary feeling of nothingness and peace is overtaken by an infinite amount of pain and suffering that is difficult to find yourself out of… but help is available… for the anxiety, depression, and the eating disorder that perpetuates it all.⠀
